Pinterest Pick #10 – How to crochet this heart stitch

I love to try out new crochet stitches and this is one I am putting on my list to try!

I bet it would make a really beautiful blanket using the Lion Brand Mandala yarn.

I have been a little obsessed with the Mandala yarn lately lol.

It’s the perfect yarn for the Spring and Summer Months.

I could see this being a great project for that.

I might just have to make a baby or toddler blanket in this stitch with either Genie or Unicorn Cloud.

If you give this one a try please let me know about it in the comment section below!  I would love to see what you come up with!

Pinterest Pick #9 – The Best Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Don’t these cookies just look so delicious!!!  With 437 comments and raving reviews it definitely looks like a recipe to try!

I love that it has a photo to show you what the cookies look like if you do something wrong.

It has pictures to show too much flour, too little, etc.  If you make this I want to know about it!

Easter is right around the corner!  If you are anything like me then you have been looking for an Easter project to make.

One and Two Company patterns are always a hit for me and this one is no exception!

Coco the Little Chicken Amigurumi is just too cute!  She released a free bunny crochet pattern too for a furls crochet along.

Pinterest Pick #7 – How to Complete and Organize an Effective Brain Dump

I always have a thousand thoughts and ideas churning around in my head at any given moment.

I amaze myself on a daily basis with my capacity to multi-task and keep up with all those tasks in my head.

Even though I manage, this isn’t the best way to go about running my personal life, business & blog.

When I stumbled across this pin on Pinterest I was immediately intrigued.  I love this idea of periodic brain dumping!

I plan to start doing this myself but I think I’ll use a different method for organizing my brain dumps.

I would rather write everything down on paper until I can’t think of anything else.  Then I can organize it all into Trello.

“If you haven’t heard of Trello click here to check it out.  I have been using it to organize my family and my business.”

Pinterest Pick #6 – How to make money Designing Printables

I love making printables!  That’s one of the parts I really like about coming up with new crochet patterns for my blog.

I love the ideas and suggestions that she recommends for newbies.  Selling on Etsy and a stand-alone website are both crucial.

If you do crochet or knitting patterns like I do then I would highly recommend selling on Ravelry.

I personally get a lot of traffic from Ravelry and I’ve sold some patterns there too.

Pinterest Pick #5 – Dress With Flare Free Crochet Pattern

I have been on the hunt for some good crochet patterns to try this spring and summer.  I think this dress would look beautiful in Mandala yarn!

I’m not sure what color to choose, but I think any would work great!  Maybe unicorn or genie?  Even spirit would look beautiful too.

If you make one of these please tell me about in the comment section below!  I would love to know what yarn you use and how it went!

Pinterest Pick #4 – Eggless Edible Brownie Batter Cookie Dough

After reading the title of this recipe I had to do a double take lmao!  It sounded intriguing and I just had to take a look.

I’m glad I did!  This looks like a fun recipe to try out with the kids.

Both of my boys love their sweets and I like to use sweets as rewards.  I think these would be perfect for that!

It even says you can store it in the fridge for up to 1 week in a sealed container.  I’m sold!  I can’t wait to try them!

Pinterest Pick #3 – 12 Amazing Looking Air Purifying Plants You Need In Your Home

I’m so glad I ran across this pin!!  I love having house plants but if I don’t kill them my cat does.  Niko has destroyed many bamboo and aloe plants.

A lot of the plants mentioned on this list wouldn’t work for me because they are toxic to kids and/or animals.

I did find one plant that would be perfect for me to try though!  I want to get a Spider Plant!

I looked it up and what I found says it’s really hard to kill, easy to spread to more pots, and nontoxic to kids and pets.

It works great in a flower pot or a hanging basket.  I did see some articles saying that cats love trying to eat them but they aren’t toxic.

I think I’ll just put them in hanging baskets around my house.  I found these macrame hanging baskets that I think would work perfectly!

You might see a new blog post coming soon where I hand paint some flower pots and hang some Spider Plants around my house.

Pinterest Pick #2 – How to make your Etsy Shop more Browse and Pinterest Friendly

I came across this pin and it sounds like it would be an interesting thing to try out.

My Etsy shop is currently in vacation mode because of the changes I am implementing in my business.

When I have everything ready to reopen I think I am going to give this a try.  I’m deleting all of my current listings and adding new ones anyways.

It wouldn’t be any more work for me to try it out.  If I do I’ll post results on my blog.
